After 6 or so years of visiting the Big Bend we finally found a piece of land that we both liked. We bought 40 acres between the Christmas Mountains and West Corazones. 

Here Brad is using a hand held GPS to find the property corners. (There's no fashion police in Big Bend.)

Staying a week at the Terlingua Ranch cabins while we searched for land. Little did we know at the time that we would be buying land near West Corazones (the mountain peak in the center of the picture).
